Biliton was established in Egypt in 2011 under the name Biliton For Mining. The business began with quarry activity, mineral products and international export from Egypt.
In 2019, the business adopted its current trade name, Biliton Trading Egypt, and expanded its role in raw-material sourcing, trading and supply, with a stronger focus on serving industrial requirements.
In 2026, Biliton expanded its industrial activities through a calcium carbonate manufacturing partnership in Minya, taking responsibility for production management, factory operations, sales and exports. The factory currently has a production capacity of 6,000 metric tons per month, with commercial particle sizes starting from 8 microns.
