ANTI-BRIBERY & IMPROPER PAYMENTS

Business must be won fairly.

Biliton does not permit bribes, kickbacks, facilitation payments or any benefit intended to improperly influence a decision. Gifts, hospitality and third-party arrangements must be lawful, reasonable, transparent and never used to secure an unfair advantage.

  • No cash or concealed personal benefit to influence business.
  • Conflicts of interest must be disclosed and managed.
  • Agents and intermediaries must have a clear, legitimate role.
  • Commercial records must accurately describe the transaction.

PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT

Act honestly, respectfully and with care.

Employees and representatives are expected to comply with applicable requirements, communicate accurately, protect confidential information and treat customers, suppliers and colleagues with dignity.

  • No false, misleading or unsupported commercial statements.
  • Customer, supplier and company information is handled responsibly.
  • Discrimination, harassment and abusive conduct are not accepted.
  • Records and approvals must reflect the real decision and responsibility.

HEALTH & SAFETY

Protect people before production or dispatch.

Biliton expects work to be planned around the hazards of mineral handling, processing, packing, storage and loading. Applicable site instructions, personal protective equipment and safe operating practices must be followed.

  • Identify hazards before starting non-routine work.
  • Use appropriate PPE and safe handling methods.
  • Report unsafe conditions, incidents and near misses promptly.
  • Stop and escalate work when an immediate serious risk is identified.

RESPONSIBLE SOURCING

Know the basis of the product and the offer.

Supply decisions should be supported by a legitimate source, an understood product route, agreed specifications and appropriate commercial and shipment records. Biliton expects suppliers and service partners to follow applicable legal, safety and business-conduct requirements.

  • Review source, product identity and supply capability.
  • Match claims and documents to the proposed grade or shipment.
  • Reduce avoidable loss, spillage, damage and unnecessary packaging.
  • Raise material compliance or sourcing concerns before supply proceeds.
