Requirement-Led Quality

From a representative sample to a reliable result.

A result only has value when the sampling basis, test method, unit and acceptance limit are understood. Before recommending a grade, we review what the mineral must achieve in the buyer’s process and which parameters are commercially critical.

Testing may be completed through the appropriate production or laboratory facility according to the product and order. The final scope, frequency and reporting basis are confirmed with the buyer.

Laboratory & Physical Evaluation

Tests selected around the product and its application

The parameters below are typical examples. Applicable tests, methods and acceptance limits are confirmed for the selected grade and order.

01Composition & purity

Chemical composition

Product chemistry may include CaCO3, CaO, MgO, SiO2, Fe2O3 and other parameters relevant to the selected mineral and application.

02Sizing & distribution

Particle-size control

Mesh size, sieve residue, top size or particle-size distribution can be reviewed according to the product form and buyer requirement.

03Moisture basis

Moisture and loss on drying

Moisture is checked when it affects flow, storage, processing, packing weight or the stability of the customer’s production process.

04Optical properties

Whiteness, brightness and colour

Optical properties can be assessed where appearance, opacity or finished-product colour is commercially important.

05Physical properties

Bulk density and physical form

Powder, granule and lump products may require checks for density, form, grading, handling behaviour and visible contamination.

06Fit for intended use

Application-specific checks

Additional parameters can be agreed for filtration media, feed minerals, glass raw materials, coatings, polymers and other applications.

From Enquiry to Release

Five controlled steps before shipment

The order moves through a practical sequence that keeps the supplied product, test basis, packing and documentation aligned.

01

Define the acceptance basis

We confirm the product, application, target values, tolerances, test method and required documents before supply.

02

Select and prepare samples

Representative samples are collected, identified and prepared to reflect the relevant lot or shipment.

03

Test and review results

Applicable physical and chemical results are reviewed against the agreed purchasing requirement.

04

Inspect packing and loading

Bag condition, markings, quantity, loading arrangement and container readiness are checked as applicable.

05

Release documents and shipment

The commercial and technical records required for the order are coordinated before dispatch.

Technical Documentation

Clear records for technical and commercial confidence

Document availability and reported values depend on the product, shipment and agreed customer requirement.

TDS

Technical Data Sheet

Typical product properties and available grade information.

SDS

Safety Data Sheet

Handling, storage and safety information for the supplied material.

COA

Certificate of Analysis

Reported results for the applicable lot or shipment when agreed.
